Children love to see their parents and carers at school, whether helping out in the classroom, special event or involved in other ways. Research shows that students perform better at school when their parents or carers take an active interest in their schoolwork.
Your contribution is valued.
The Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) at Lake Heights is involved in making decisions about the school and how it spends funds. If you can’t get involved in the P&C meetings (held monthly), you can get involved in the great things they organise for the school, such as special events and fundraising activities.
Meetings are held during the morning, once a month and are advertised on our calendar.
Our weekly newsletter is delivered via email. It’s a great way to keep up to date with what’s happening at school. It’s also available on this website.
School assemblies are held three times per term. They are advertised in the school eNews and on our calendar. They include award presentations, announcements and class items. Assemblies are a great way to show your child your interest.
