Students are provided with interactive and practical learning about
UV radiation and its impact through the Science and Technology key
learning area.
Our school homepage also provides an up to date UV index reading
along with other weather information for the relevant day at school.
School leaders will monitor the sun protection levels and times on our
site and make a report to the school via a daily PA announcement.
UV 1-2
You can safely stay outside.
UV 3-7
Seek shade during the midday hours and wear sunscreen and a hat.
UV 8-11+
Avoid being outside during the midday hours as much as possible. Seek shade and wear sunscreen and a hat.
